Windcheeter Elite

The Windcheeter and Windcheeter Elite are the fastest tri-spokes in the world. Completely re-engineered using our i-Act (impact absorbing core technology) the Windcheeter tri-spokes are the best performing composite wheel in any wind direction.

Wheel Aerodynamics

The Windcheeter has a very slick aerodynamic rim profile with a depth of 55mm. The wheel is just 22mm wide at its widest point, enabling the Windcheeter to cut through head winds with effortless efficiency as it produces very little drag.

X-treme's unique airfoil profile spokes are set in a forward ark giving the windcheeter the ability to create lift from prevailing winds that no other carbon spoked wheel on the market can match.

As the air flow passes each spoke it produces lift that helps propel the wheel forward. The stronger the wind and the greater the wind angle the more lift is generated and the faster the wheel will rotate. This helps the rider maintain momentum with ease and use less energy to hold the same speed.

Wheel Construction

The Windcheeter incorporates i-ACT (impact absorbing core technology). Internal carbon ribbing with an outer skin of multi-directional carbon makes the Windcheeter incredibly strong and stiff. This gives the rider the confidence of knowing that all the energy that is delivered to the hub is transferred directly to the rim with an absolute minimum loss of energy. It also gives you a smoother ride whilst being incredibly responsive.

The Windcheeter's light weight and superior strength makes it suitable for any triathlon or time trial course and can be used in most wind conditions.

The Windcheeter features a 180gr clincher alloy extrusion rim that is welded, co-moulded and machined to give you smooth and dependable braking.

The Windcheeter Elite is full carbon with a machined smooth dependable braking surface.

Weights:

  • Elite: front 680gr. Rear 775gr. Rim weight 300gr (700c)
